Jacki: My name is Jacki and I am 32 years old. I live in Peabody Massachusetts, about 30 minutes (traffic depending) North of Boston. I am very happily married to my hubby and best buddy!! I have NF1 and have it my whole life. I was diagnosed with it when I was one. I had a tumor on my optic nerve on my left eye and had the tumr removed and since then I have been blind in that eye. I then had a "door knob" tumor on my spine and kidney when I was nine. I have TONS of "bumpies" all over. I used to get down about it and I still do once in a while, but it is a part of me and this is the way God made me so.... I love life!! I have a great job teaching nine two year olds and I love them very much- I love them like they are my own. Everyday I get tons of smiles, hugs, and kisses from them. who could ask for a better job than that.
